Course description

This module provides a practical, clinically relevant overview of alcohol and drug addiction within integrated care settings. Through brief video content and guided learning, participants will build foundational knowledge of substance use disorders (SUDs), including risk factors, signs and symptoms, and their impact on physical and behavioral health. The module emphasizes the role of healthcare teams in early identification, brief intervention (SBIRT), and ongoing support, using evidence-based, patient-centered approaches.
