Course description

Depression and Anxiety – Video Learning Module

This module provides a practical overview of depression and anxiety within integrated care settings. Through brief video content and guided learning, participants will understand how these common conditions impact physical health, daily functioning, and chronic disease management. The module emphasizes early identification using validated screening tools and the use of brief, evidence-based interventions—including motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral strategies (CBT), and behavioral activation (BA)—that can be delivered in time-limited visits. Learners will also explore how integrated care teams support whole-person care, improve access, and enhance outcomes for patients experiencing depression and anxiety
